Spooky Halloween House

I never usually make Halloween cards, because I am not sure what to do with them afterwards.  LOL  But when I saw this house on the Imagine cartridge Enjoy the Seasons I could not resist, besides I could use this  for one of the sketches on the RAQs Challenge on the Cricut message board this week.

I had the dots background paper in a K & Company mat stack that I got last year in some "candy" that I won.  The purple strip is a Martha Stewart punch that I punched on both sides of an 1.75 inch strip of paper and then added a piece of black glitter paper down the center.    I just love how this turned out and it made me love my Imagine even more.   The house is about 3 inches high.  I set it up to the size I wanted in Cricut Craft Room, put in a white piece of paper and waa laa I had my Halloween house all printed and cut out.  It cuts in five different layers.
Here is a bottom side view
I inked the edges and pop dotted all the layers to give it a lot of dimension.  I cut an extra oval out of gray to mount it all on so it would not get lost on the card base.
I added the "boo" and witch on the moon (you can see her better in the first picture) which are from some Halloween confetti that I had.  They were the perfect size.  The witch was orange and I wanted it black so I colored her using my Copic marker and it worked great.
I also did the inside rather simple and used some more confetti there.
Sure hope you enjoy my Halloween card.  Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment. I love to read them, besides that way I knew you were here to take a peak.

I will also enter this in the following challenge

Art with no Boundries  Anything goes   ends - 9/17
