Love You

Hello, I have a card to share with you today that I created
as a Design Team member over at
the wonderful digital papers that Lozzy has created.
The background paper is from the "On it's Way" pack.
The papers in this pack are really pretty.
I cut the ribbon banners and the word love using my Cricut Explore and
the word you is a die I got in one of my Stamp of Approval boxes.
I love the rich pink/mauve colors in this paper.
Using these papers made this card come together pretty quick.
There are also Friday Freebies over at ABMTTC page,

Flirty Fuchsia and Aquatini

I made this card using the new Catherine Pooler inks, aren't those fun names.

I made this quick card using the Flirty Fuchsia and Aquatini, I love this
color combination don't you?
They more I play with these inks the more I love them.
I just took my ink pad and dabbed some of each color
onto my craft mat, spritzed it with water and then laid the
paper down on it.  After I lifted it a sprayed it with just a bit more water to make the colors blend and more a little more.
Then I randomly stamped with some small stamps that were in
one of my Stamp of Approval boxes.  The set is from CAS-ual Friday called
Young at Heart.  The sentiment is a Unity stamp.  I added some random sequin and that was it.

Thanks for stopping to take a peak, be sure and check back in the
next couple days I have some more projects to show you.

Stella going Braless

Hi, I have a fun card to share with you today.
I made this following the sketch this week at
They have a different theme challenge for each day
of the week so make sure you check it out there may be
something there for you to play along.
I used the Bugaboo image Stella Braless
for this card.  I love the Stella images.
The saying is a stamp I had from Rubbernecker Stamps.
I printed her on Strathmore Bristol paper and colored her dress using a water brush and my Rockin Red ink pad from Catherine Pooler.  This is the first time I "watercolored" using these and inks
and it is amazing.  The color goes on sooo smooth.
I used my Zig Clean Color pens to do her hair and skin.
This was such a fun and quick card to make, I hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Bday to my Wine Partner

Hi I a back to share a 2nd card with you that I
made this month as a Design Team member at the
I used the same KennyK image Happy Hour for the front of
the card.

I used my Copics to color the image.  I had cut the oval out of a panel of paper using my Gina Marie In and Out Oval die set. It is a pretty cool set because
the oval that is cut out has a dotted edge as well as the paper the oval was cut from.  So one cut gives you two pieces to create with.  I embossed the red
panel using a Cuttlebug folder.
The saying I wrote and cut using my Explore and Pilot Precision V5 pens.
I love the way these pens write using the Explore.
My bestie and I love to enjoy our wine together so that is why I used
this saying.

Then here is the inside.
I stamped the image using an Art Impression stamp from the Wine Divas set
and colored it with my Copic markers, the colors are better in person.
The sayings are also stamped but I used SugarPea Designs stamps from the
Wine Not set.  I thought they fit the theme perfectly.
Well thanks for stopping in again and would love to know what you think of my card.  Also remember you have some time left to join in on the

No Line Coloring

Hello, hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend.
Today I have a card to share with you using a Unity Stamp image
from the Steps of Courage set.
I stamped this with Distress Ink Antique Linen to give it a
"no line" look.  I then painted/colored it using my Zig Clean Color pens using
Light Carmine and Yellow for the flowers and blended with my
water brush. I cut out the image using Cottage Cutz stitched die.  Although you can't see it in the picture I dotted the dots around the image using the clear Gelly Roll pen.
The background paper I made using Wax Paper Resist technique.
HERE is a video from StampTv showing the technique.
I left off a sentiment that I will add later when I decide how to use it.
I made another a little while ago using the same process you can check out HERE if you would like.
I did the border on the yellow panel using a Martha Stewart punch, added a few pearls and that is it.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek at my blog.

Same Image 2 Ways - Bugaboo

Hello, have you heard there is a NEW challenge
in Blogland.
Yippie, it is called
be a month long challenge starting on the 15th of every month.
How cool is that to have all these Bugaboo creations in one place
to look at each month.  I am so honored to be on the Design Team.

So for my project this week I am made two cards with the same image
colored each a bit different way, using the same media and colors.
The image I used is Floral Trio Frame and printed on Canson Mixed Media paper.

The first one I with a watercolor smooching kind of look.
Using my Distress Inks - Peacock Feather - Mustard Seed and Worn Lipstick
I smooched each color on my craft sheets and sprayed lightly with water, then I laid my printed imaged directly on the sprayed ink and moved it around a bit.
After it dried I mounted it onto a piece of black card stock.
I took a piece of Recollections Pink pearl card stock and loaded it
into my Explore and using a Pilot Precision V5 black pen it wrote
the sentiment.  I love the elegant look of this writing.
I embossed some lines along the edge using my MS Score Board, then mounted the panel with the Bugaboo image and that was it.

This one is pretty similar in layout it is just a 4 by 8 card that fits into
a business size #10 envelope.  Here I used the same Distress Inks colors as above but I colored using an Aqua brush.  I was more precise and painted within the
lines, then added a light watercolor wash to the background.
I cut out the Happy Birthday Wishes using a die I got in my April Stamp of Approval box, it is by Cas-ual Fridays.

So there is my two version of the same digital image, which one do
you like better?  I'd love to hear.
Well head on over to Bugaboo and pick out some images and join
in the fun on this new monthly challenge.  Also check out the Friday Freebie
at Bugaboo

Thinking of You

Hi, I have a card to share with you I made a few weeks ago
but have not had a chance to sit down and type up a blog post for it.

I had read about a technique called Wax Paper Embossing resist.
As soon I saw it I had to give it a try and I had a lot of fun and
made several different pieces to have on had to use for card
backgrounds.   There are several tutorials and videos out there but
HERE is the one I followed.
A few weeks ago Unity Stamps had a challenge using feathers
and/or a set of colors, well I pulled out this piece of wax resist paper
I made and it was perfect for the challenge.
I stamped the feather stamp from the Feather Soft Love Unity stamp set using Memento Black Ink.  Matted it on a few coordinating colors and added some sequins.  I think it looks so pretty.

Thanks for stopping to take a peak, see you soon with another post.

Sending Birthday Wishes

Happy New Year, hope you all had a great new
year and look forward to a fabulous 2017.

Today I have a card to share with you that I created following
the sketch over at CAS(E).
I generally have a real hard time making clean and
simple or one layer cards but this one seemed to just fall into
place.  Yeah for me!
Of course using Catherine Pooler new inks and stamps from a
Stamp of Approval box did make it easier.   Her inks are brand new and the colors I used are from the Foundations box.  The stamps are from a
past SOA box.
I hope this inspires me to make more simple single layer cards
and inspire you also.  If I can do it you can too!

Thanks for stopping by to take a peak.

Wine for Classy Ladies

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope 2017 bring a year full of health and happiness.
Hi, sorry I have not posted in a while but like so
many the holidays were crazy busy, plus
then turned up sick afterward.
Still feeling a little bad but wanted to put a w quick post about
the Crafty Awesomeness Challenge to start of the New Year.
This month we will be using KennyK images.
The one I am using is called Happy Hour and I love anything
to do with wine lol.  I did this simple version but
want to do another humorous one a little later in the
month when I am feeling better.
I just love her classy look.  I colored her using my
Zig Clean Color Markers and moved them around with
a waterbrush.  I cut around the image using a Gina Marie
x-stitched die.  The sentiment is a Sweet Pea Designs
stamp.  I added some Cyrstal Accents to the wine in the glass.
So head on over the Crafting Circle blog and join in
the Crafty Awesomeness Challenge
