Wishing you the Best

Just have a quick card to share with you today.
I watched a video on Unity Stamps Facebook page about stamp kissing.
Normally when I see something I want to try I like to do it right
away so I don't forget about it.
Here is one tutorial on stamping kissing if you are not
familiar with it.  Stamp Kissing

I took my solid Poppy stamp from Unity and inked it in red, then
I inked up a pattern stamp in white ink and stamped it onto
the inked poppy stamp.  Unfortunately my white ink didn't show too
well, but you can bet I will be trying this again.
I masked my flower next and then stamped the black border
along the two sides of it.   That border stamp and the "wishing you the" are stamps that came in the lastest SOA box.  The word best is a die cut that
was also in the SOA.  I flicked some orange and black inks on it and
added a few sequin and that was it.

French Country Thanks

I have a simple card to share with you today.

I made this following the sketch this week at

I used the papers from a DCWV stack called French Country.
The lacey doily is a die cut that was in the lastest
Stamp of Approval box "Naturally Inspired".  So many goodies
in this box and I wanted to create the whole card using
a lot of the goodies but I just could not get it to come together for me.
However, I am sure I will be using the contents of this SOA box in the
future.  For the flourish I used a Spellbinder die.

Well that is it, thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone has
a wonderful weekend.

Purse-nally Wish Shoe........................

..................a Happy Birthday!
Ha ha ha, I love this pun or play on words.

This card was made for the Bugaboo Crafty Challenge this month over at the Crafting Circle.  This challenge runs from the 15th of each month through
the 14th on the following month.   You must use a Bugaboo image on your
creation, but that is ok cause Jodie offers a Friday Freebie each week.

So there is my card using this saying.  I choose this image called "Heels &Accessories" because I
knew I had a stamp with that saying on it and thought it would be perfect.
Well, wouldn't you know I could NOT find that dang stamp when I
was making this card and I just saw it last week.  😧
Anywho, I colored the image using my Zig Clean Color markers with highlights from some glitter gel pens.  The saying I ended up using my Cricut Explore
to write the saying with Pilot V5 Precision pens.  They work great in the Explore and I love the fine line they write with.
Hard to see in the picture but the black background is embossed
with a chevron pattern.

So head on over to the Crafting Circle and join in the

Naturally Inspired Card

Well hello, everyone.  I am super excited because my
new Stamp of Approval box arrived yesterday.
This "Naturally Inspired" collection has so many awesome
goodies in it the possibilities are endless.

I had a sketch I wanted to do and it was PERFECT for using
some of the goodies on the box.
Here is the sketch............

I knew the Lattice die was exactly the shape of that center piece.

I stamped the background piece of the panel using the cross-hatch
stamp in the new Catherine Pooler ink color All that Jazz that came
in the box.  The flowers were stamped and cut out using the matching dies.
Then I stamped the "birthday wishes" and heat embossed it in white.
All those things came in the SOA box and oh so many many more.
I am sure I will be back soon to share another project I make using
some more of the elements int he Naturally Inspired box.
Thanks for stopping by.

Playing with my Distress Oxides

Hi, I got to play a bit with my Distress Oxides inks
so I created this card following the sketch
this week at MFT Sketch Challenge.
Here is the sketch I followed to make this card.
Sketch Challenge 335 #mftstamps

Here is the card I created.
I used my Oxide paper on the left side of the card and then stamped some
distress images on top of it.
The banner with the sentiment is from Hero Arts.
And that is about it for this card.

Thanks for stopping to take a peak.

Birthday Shaker Card

Hi, back to share my DT project for June over at the

This month we were challenged to make a shaker card using
some dies from Gina Marie.   Although I don't make then very often I
do like making shaker cards.

For my card, I stamped the cupcake image from Inky Antics, then
colored it using my Copic markers.  The sentiment is from the same
stamp set.  I used my scalloped edge oval die from GinaMarie and
then using another oval die I cut the center out so I would have
a die cut frame. I cut several layers from chipboard with the
oval whole cut from the center to build up for my shaker card.
I added various sequin for my "shaker" parts.
I also used a GinaMarie die for the pink bow.

So come on head on over and join in the challenge at
the Crafting Circle, I believe there will be a prize.
