Giggle More

Hi, I am back to share my  DT project for June over at

I love the colors in this digi pack of papers.  It is from the
Mixed Media pack.  I love the combination of purple and turquoise together.
I followed sketch # 498 from Mojo Monday but couldn't post it to their
blog because I couldn't post this till the 1st of June but that is OK I love
following a sketch to make a card.
I cut the scalloped circle frame using one of my GinaMarie dies and then
stamped on the white using some of the stamps from the
SOA box A Perfect Reason.  I loved this saying.  I added a few random flowers                                              to fill in some of the white space.

So if you get a chance head on over to ABMTTC and join in
the anything goes challenge.

You Warm my Heart

Hi, back again to share a card with you that I made
following the sketch this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Here is my card, I forgot to add the 3 little dots up in the corner
but have added them on after I took the photo.

I used some scrap paper that I have had around here for a while.
I stamped the oven mitts from the Unity Stamp April Kit of the Month.
I then stamped them again on pattern paper and cut them out to paper piece the image.  Makes it easy as you don't need to color the image.
The sentiment I stamped using a is from this month's KOTM.

Thanks for stopping to take a peak, see you soon with another blog
post.

You are Fabulous

Hi, today's card I have to share with you is made using
items that were in the Stamp of Approval box
called "A Perfect Reason" that was released in February 2017.
Although the Stamp of Approval box is no longer available
you will still be able to purchase some of the items at
Catherine Pooler store a little later this year.

So here is the card I created using the Peacock stamp and dies.

I used the stencil that came is the box to create the left hand edge of the card.
I just inked over the stencil with my Catherine Pooler inks.
I used a few different color CP inks to stamp the peacock, I tried to do
a variation of color.  To add some pop I inked the oval cut out using CP ink called Pixie Dust which is from the new Spring Fling collection of colors.
If you have never used  CP inks I would recommend you check them out, the colors are awesome and the stamps are very juicy and stamp a great impression even when it is a solid image stamp, as the body of the Peacock is.
To really add some bling I put rhinestones along each part of the peacock tail.

This card will be entered into a contest to win the next SOA box so if you feel so inclined to head over to Catherine Pooler's blog and vote for my card.  Voting will begin on May 21 through the 23rd.
Click to VOTE, thank you.

Tulip in a Jar

Hi, it is that time again (sorry I am late) the 15th of
the month time for the Bugaboo Crafty Challenge over
at the Crafting Circle

For this month I chose to color the Bugaboo image

I colored the image using my Gansai Tambi watercolors.
After I colored it I cut it out using one of my Gina Marie dies and that added another die layer behind it.  I cover the "jar" part with Crystal Lacquer
to make it look like glass.
I created the card following the sketch over at
Sweet Sketch Wednesday that runs through 5/23.

The Bugaboo Crafty Challenge runs for a whole month till June 14th
so you have plenty time to join in the fun at both challenges.

Thanks for stopping by, will be back shortly with another post.

Baby Boy

I am invited to a baby shower this weekend so I needed
a card for a baby boy.
I used the sketch from
Tuesday Morning Sketches to create this card.

The colors are much prettier in person, it is more a baby blue
checked background.  The paper is from a single sheet that I have had
for years.
The cute little outfit and socks I cut using from Cricut Explore
from the Baby Steps cartridge.    It's a boy was also cut using my Explore along with the circles.
Pretty easy card, came together quickly but turned out so cute.

Thanks for stopping by and head on over and check out
the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches

I got to play along with the sketch this week at Mojo Monday.
I don't always get to but love to when I can.  This week
is contest/prize week since it is the first Monday of the month.
You could win a set of Verve stamps of your choice.

Here is the sketch

This card was so hard to photograph due to the gold fold on it, but is person
it looks really cool.  I'll try later to get a better picture.
The top square of paper from the Bazzill Kraft Foil pad.
I had seen someone make a card using this paper a few months back and had to find me a pack of it, this was my first card using it.
The happy birthday is a Verve stamp from the Treasured Words set that
I stamped and heat embossed in gold.
Well thanks so much for stopping by, if you get a chance hop on over to
Mojo Monday and play along.

A Guy Birthday Card

Hi, sometimes creating a card for a guy can be a bit
difficult, at least for me it can be.
This week over at the MFT Sketch Challenge this sketch
made it kind of easy to create this card for a guy.
Here is the sketch.
Sketch Challenge 330 #mftstamps

And here is the card I created following the sketch.
The paper was a digital paper I had on my computer and printed out, unfortunately, I can not remember where I got it from. 😞
The happy birthday is a die I bought a while back off of Amazon, if you what you check it out click HERE.
I added some faux stitching around the edges and that was it.  I had
intended to add some bakers twine but I forgot.

Well that is is, thanks for stopping by.
