Happy Birthday Beautiful

Well you all know I love my Unity Stamps
but
this is the first time I have made a card using one of
the Unity Girls.
Isn't she great she is called
Poppy Girl.
I made her following the challenge over at the
Unity Facebook page Show & Tell.  The challenge
was to use a Unity stamp and the colors,
Red, White and Kraft.  I love coloring on kraft
the colors come out so vibrant plus you can color white.
I used my Polychromos to color this image.  I am
really in love with how this one turned out.
Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think
of my card.

Christmas JOY

Ok, I am really running against the clock on this one.
I made this card following the sketch over at
Retro Rubber Challenge where you have to use an older
rubber stamp.  The Joy stamp is from a 2000 Stampin Up
set.

I stamped it with VersaMark ink and then heat embossed with
Brutus/Monroe Alabaster embossing powder.
I LOVE this embossing powder, some of the best I have used.  It covers
very well and heats/melts quickly and evenly.
I flipped the sketch on it's side and using some glitter paper
added some strips.  The background paper is from a
Christmas paper stack from Michaels a couple years ago.

Well, that is it, thanks for stopping by.

Spotlight Colored Clematis

Hi, well it is the first of December so it is time to share
my card I made as a Design Team member over at
for the monthly
Make sure you come and play along as this month it is a
prize challenge.  You could win a Gina Marie gift certificate.
If you are not familiar with her products you really should
check them out, she has some of the best dies and at the absolute
best prices.

For this card, I used a Power Poppy digital image called
Climbing Clematis.   A long time ago I made a card using this technique
called the Spotlight Technique where you just color a portion
of the image.  If you want to check that post out click HERE is was about
6 years ago.  I colored the flower twice, once directly on the
entire image then again on a second one and cut it out then
attached it over the bottom one to give it some dimension.
After I had it all colored I cut it out using a Gina Marie

Thanks for stopping by and make sure you head on over the
