I try to make more male cards and sometimes it is hard. Many times I start out with a male card and somehow it evolves into a more girlie card. This one I think stayed on the male track enough.
The color follow an ad color challenge on the Cricut message board where we were to use Blue, Tan and Brown a great combination for a male card. I found this paper in my DCWV Mi Casa paper stack and they were perfect for the challenge. The cutout on the tan (don't want to call it a flower LOL) was cut from Accent Essentials cartridge. The center is a brad I made using my i-Top brad maker using Accent Essentials to cut out the template cover from the same paper stack. The small tan piece is run through the Cuttlebug using the clock work folder although it is hard to see.
The side pieces were hand cut from some scraps I had left over. I distressed the edges of both the tan piece and the blue piece and inked the edges.
I finished the inside simply by using some of the same papers. I will add a sentiment stamps later.
I am so glad you found your way to blog, however that may have been, so please leave me a comment so that I know you were here. I love reading them and the inspiration they give me.

Donna, the card looks great... and don't feel bad... I am a guy and my cards always seem to turn out a little girly. Hee! Hee! I guess because I have always worked with lots of women. Hee! Hee! Love the card! The flower is amazing!!!
Great male card, and wonderful dp.

Saw this on M.I.M. Too many people get hung up about 'men's' cards. Speaking as a man who makes cards if it feels good just go with it. This card is a delightful card for a man or a woman, love it honey.
