My blog has Style!

Really, well according to The Cricut Couple they think I do.  They have awarded me the "Your Blog Has Style" award, wow thanks!
Back in the summer there were several people that kept telling me that I should have a blog, well I was scared and intimidated about having one but with much encouragement from my Cricut message board friends I started one and I love it.  It opened up my world to all kinds of new blogging friends.  Thank you to Jill & Bobby at the Cricut Couple that awarded me this honor.

So to accept this award, I need list 5 things about me makign sure that I tell why I like crafting.  I also have to pass this award on to 5 other bloggers telling why I like their blog.

 

Things about me

1.  I am married to the most wonderful man, that treats me like a queen and is so encouraging of my hobby.

2.  I worked full time for the same company for 26 years till 3 1/2 years ago when they discovered a tumor in my spinal cord, after 2 surgeries I am unable to walk unassisted so I can no longer work.

3.  I have always loved some kind of crafting from, painting t-shirts to crocheting to anything else I ran across that I wanted to try.

4.  I love making cards and have been for about 15 years.  I am thankful that I had this hobby when I became disabled, which is now my full-time job :).  I get to go in my room and play each 7 everyday.

5.  I am very thankful for my wonderful supportive family and friends that are there for me every step of the way through my new live journey.   And also my many blogging friends that I have "meet" in the last 7 months.

Now here are the 5 blogs I want to pass this award on to.

1.  Melissa Made, i know that Melissa was already awarded this my Bobby & Jill, but I absolutely could not pass up on me awarding it to her also.  Without her I probably would not have a blog, she has continuously encouraged me and is always complimenting my work.  besides all that she can do wonders coloring with Copic markers, if I could color 1/4 as well asher I would be happy.

2.   My Sheri Crafts Sheri is also a person that was instrumental in setting up my blog.  She even spent time with me on the phone to help me get it all set up and give me hints and tips on how to manage a blog.  I love her blog because she has a challenge each week that helps get your creative juices flowing.  She also has a great store with fabulous prices and out of this world customer service, check it out My Sheri Crafts Store

3. Tiffany Doodles  You have to check out Tiffany's web site, she has some of the best digital images out there and they keep getting better all the time.  She offers freebies on Thursdays.  I love her site because I am just learning the marker coloring thing and I love her simple but stylish designs. 

4.  Scrap Happens  if you have never been to Rhonda blog you just have to visit,  She make the most awesome mini albums you will ever lay your eyes on.  And then she gives them away, I was lucky enough to receive one just before Christmas.  I have never attempted one of these but I may have to after seeing Rhonda's.

5.  Crafting the Web  I just recently found this blog and immediately fell in love with it.  With my recent quest for learning to color with Copic and my ProMarkers I quickly discovered I would find great help here.  Theresa's tutorials are fabulous, she takes you step by step of coloring and showing you exactly which markers she used.  You can bet I will be visiting this blog also.
