Anchors aweigh

My grandson will soon be graduating from Boot Camp, or Pass in Review as the Navy calls it.  I made this card for his graduation following one of the sketches this week at RAQs challenge on the Cricut message board.
I am lucky enough to be able to go to the ceremony at Great Lakes Navel Base just north of Chicago, so I wll get to hand this to him.
The card fits into a standard #10 size envelope, just a bit smaller so I may make an envelope.  The cuts are all from the Stand & Salute cartridge.  If you have anyone in the military this is a must have cartridge.  The dark blue is pearlesence paper that I Cuttlebugged with the stars folder.  The "United States Navy"  is an epoxy sticker.
Here are a couple of close up pictures.
The anchor on the anchors aweigh I cut from silver and covered with Crackle Accents, I think it came out pretty nice.
I don't always finish the insides of my cards till I know who I will be sending them too, but since I made this one specifically for my Sailor Recruit I did the inside.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The red frame, cap and globe anchor are all cut from Stand & Salute also.  Hard to see but the "world" I cut using blue holographic paper to make it look like water, I tried LOL.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I love to read your comments and of course I would love to see you as a follower.

I love your cards. You make them so personal for each person that will be receiving them. That's a great thing.
