Thank you berry much for stopping by..................I made this card for the challenge this week at Crafty Creations, this week by our challenge was to make a thank you card and is sponsored by
Hop on over and take a love at the cute images there are
I chose to use this strawberry image from Doodle Pantry and the sentiment stamp is a Gina K Design stamp.
I am still just learning to use my Copic and Promarkers and had a heck of a time with these strawberries, I am still not real happy with them. The leaves came out OK, but I just could not get the coloring and shading correct on the strawberries. I covered them with Diamond Glaze and that seemed to help somewhat.
Here is a closer look of the strawberries.
Red is hard and it bleed out of the lines and I just could not get all of it off. I distressed the edges of the white & red papers with my Tim Holtz distressing tool. I double edged the red checked and red with my Martha Stewart punch. This scalloped edge is one of my favorites.
So glad you stopped by, but be sure and head on over to Crafty Creations and join in the fun. It is an easy challenge and we can never have too many thank you cards on hand.
I will entering this card in the following challenges
Top Tip Tuesday T......is for ends 7/4
Bows and Berries thank you/appreciation ends 7/2

Oh Donna this card is such a wonderful and vibrant summer treat!
Your strawberries are superb. Yeah you for venturing into the world of copics. I am too timid as of yet to try. ;)

Beautiful card. Love your colouring, I agree red is very difficult to use in Copics. Thanks for joining Top Tip Tuesday. Elaine
Nice card. I think your strawberries came out great. I agree about red being a hard color to use. I remember the frustrations I had trying to color a Santa Claus last Christmas. Ugh! Love your card though. You did much better than I did.
