Strawberries

Thank you berry much for stopping by..................I made this card for the challenge this week at Crafty Creations,  this week by our challenge was to make a thank you card and is sponsored by

I chose to use this strawberry image from Doodle Pantry and the sentiment stamp is a Gina K Design stamp.

I am still just learning to use my Copic and Promarkers and had a heck of a time with these strawberries, I am still not real happy with them.  The leaves came out OK, but I just could not get the coloring and shading correct on the strawberries.  I covered them with Diamond Glaze and that seemed to help somewhat.
Here is a closer look of the strawberries.

Red is hard and it bleed out of the lines and I just could not get all of it off. I distressed the edges of the white & red papers with my Tim Holtz distressing tool.  I double edged the red checked and red with my Martha Stewart punch.  This scalloped edge is one of my favorites.
