This is a very simple card, that I let the paper do most of the work. The paper is from an older Christmas stack I had from a few years ago.
The 2 snowflakes are from a couple different Cricut cartridges, I covered them with very fine crystal glitter and pop dotted them. The sentiment is a stamp that I stamped directly on the printed paper and heat embossed with white powder.
This was my first time using crumple or crinkle ribbon that I just got from an exchange on the Cricut message board. I am not sure I know what I am doing with it yet. Do you think it looks OK? I will learn as time goes by.
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my blog. And I wish everyone a very wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with family & friends.

Warm Holiday Wishes
Hi, hope you all are having a great weekend so far. I am still trying to get my Christmas card idea so I made this card following a sketch on the Cricut message board. I made it into a gatefold card.
I wanted the snowflake to hold it closed but am having a little problem with that part and will have to work on it. It think it is a bit to stiff or heavy to hold the card closed. Well I guess it will stayed closed in the envelope when I mail it LOL.
The snowflake I cut using the Winter Lace cartridge and it has 4 layers. All the layers are the same cut 2 are cut at 1 3/4 inches and 2 a little smaller then I sprayed them with Glimmer Mist to give them some shimmer and glued them off setting the pattern as I stacked them. Added a silver snowflake bling that I had bought last year, and added a few of the same bling snowflakes on the upper left hand corner. The paper is from Paper Wishes that came in one of my Dazzles kits. The oval and scalloped over were also cut using my Cricut, then stamped it and heat embossed it in silver.
I added a light blue strip across the from and punched both sides using an EK Success punch. The card is 5 x 7 1/2 so it is a larger card.
The inside I did very simple cutting a shape using one of Nesites from white pearl paper. I will add a holiday sentiment later.
I really appreciate you stopping by my blog today. Please leave me a comment, I just love reading them.

Let it Snow..........................a little early
I know that most of you back east are very tired of the snow and I also realize it is a bit early to be doing a Christmas card however this week at RAQ's Challenge on the Cricut message the only thing that kept coming in my head was snowflakes.
The snowflakes are from several cartridges, Holiday Cakes, Accent Essentials and Winter Lace to name a few or maybe all I don't remember, LOL. I do love the way it turned out and thought about making it my Christmas card this year, but I am no so sure with cutting out all those snowflakes. Well I have a few months to think about it! There is one snowflake hidden in there that was a Martha Stewart punch. I sprayed all the snowflakes with Glimmer Mist, some Glacier and other Dazzling Diamonds. The happy holidays is a Gina K stamp, that I stamped on a Spellbinder Nestie cut out. Here is a close up of some of the snowflakes.
The snowflakes are pop dotted at different hieghts, then added bling to the centers and called it done.
I am glad you stopped by.
