Brown & Blue Birthday

I created this card this week using papers from the CTMH Pemberley paper pack.    There are some great blues and browns in this pack to make male cards.
The left side are buttons cuts from the Artiste cartridge, that I cut four times each and then glued them on top of each other and covered with Liquid Glass to make them look more like a real button.  I knew that Art Philosophy had a branch/leave cut that matched the background paper so I cut the branch using AP.
The happy birthday is cut using Artiste, that is one of the things I really love about this cartridge it even has some sentiments and being a card maker they come in handy or can add the perfect touch to your cards.

I always like to make some male cards to have on hand because times they are just hard too do.  Well thanks for stopping by my blog, leave me a comment I love to read them.

For the month of August I am running a special, if you order the Artiste cartridge or the Art Philosophy cartridge through my CTMH website I will send you one C-size stamp set of your choice and one $9.95 paper pack.  Click HERE to go to my website.  Just shoot be an email with your choices after you place your order.  Believe me when I say you will not be disappointed with this cartridge, I am just beginning to explore it and there is so much more, nor would you be with Art Philosophy.

Happy Birthday Pretty Flowers

Hello everyone hope you are having a fabulous Easter week-end so far.  This will definitely be a bittersweet Easter for us.  Our granddaughter-in-law and great-granddaughter leave on Easter morning to fly to New Hampshire to live as a family with our grandson that is stationed there.  I am so very happy that they get to finally be a family with their own home, but so very sad as we will miss that great-grandbaby tremendously.  We hope to make a trip to New Hampshire in the summer and visit them but meanwhile it will be rough adjusting without them here.
Well Monday is that granddaughter-in-law's birthday, so here is the card I made for her.
I created this card using the papers in the CTMH Pemberley Kit, as I have said before the papers in this stack are beautiful.  The wooden branch on the right is also from the Pemberley Workshop Kit, I sprayed it with Glimmer Mist and added some pearls to the leaves.  This card opens just half way across the front, you can see what I mean in this picture.
The happy birthday is stamped using Indian Corn Blue with one of the stamps from the Celebration stamp set that comes in the Art Philosophy Collection.   Then using one of the stamps in the Card Word Puzzle stamp set I lightly stamped flowers on the from yellow panel to make a background to match the flower paper.  This stamp set is so versatile because you can make so many phrases just putting the words together.
The flower I cut also using the Art Philosophy cartridge, sprayed it with Glimmer Mist and crumpled it up.  Then I added a piece of crinkle ribbon across the front.
Inside I will stamp a verse.  I like the way the branch still shows when you open the card so that the inside looks a bit dressed up.
Well thanks for stopping by to take a look, a very Happy Easter to you and your family.

A Note for you..........

Hello everyone so glad you found your way over to take a peek at what I created today.  Well I am sure you have all heard of the buzz going on lately about getting the Cricut Art Philosophy package free when you sign up as a Close to my Heart consultant, if you have been wanting that cartridge let me tell you now is the time to do, it is one fabulous deal.  If you want to sign up check out My CTMH website or just click HERE and go directly to the application.   I was so thrilled and surprised at all the goodies that came in my kit.
Well when I ordered my kit I also order the Pemberley Workshop on the Go add on, WOW I really love the papers and colors that come in this kit so I chose the papers from there to make my first CTMH card.
Isn't it just pretty!  I am so pleased with the way it came out and using the papers from Pemberley Kit made it so so easy.  The Art Philosophy cartridge has the entire cut for the base of the card even with the window cut out from the center.  The paper is double sided so with plain beige color on the inside it make it easy to have a unprinted inside.  I cut the flowers from the Art Philosophy cartridge as well and stamped them with a flower from one of the stamp sets that came in the Workshop with my Desert Sand and Cornflower blue ink pads, then sprayed them with Glimmer Mist and crumpled them up and added pearl to the center.  The butterfly was also cut using the Art Philosophy cartridge, I am telling you there are some awesome cuts on this cartridge, if you get this deal just for the cartridge it is well worth it.  It was cut in two layers and I added some pearls to the center/body. The only cut not from the Art Philosophy cartridge are the swirls they were cut from Straight From the Nest.
Here is a closer look.
I stamped the "A note for you" a stamp from the Just A Note stamp set so it would show through the window.
Hee is a look at the inside.
I added a few extra butterflies and branches to decorate the inside.  The here is how the inside of the front panel looks.
So there it is my first CTMH card using the FREE Art Philosophy cartridge you get for signing up as a consultant.  I also have to mention that CTMH stamps are some of the best quality clear acrylic stamps I have ever used, you would think that a acrylic block is just a block but the CTMH ones are over the top nice to use.
The nice thing about this promotion is you can do it just to get the kit and cartridge and if you don't sell $300 in 3 months then you just lose your senior consultant status and if you do sell well that is a bonus.  If you do keep up they $300 a quarter in sales your discount/commission is 22%, if not it drops to 10%, but there is no pressure.

Thanks for stopping by.
