If you read my blog regularly you know that I just got back from a trip to Maine and New Hampshire to see my grandsons in the Navy. One is stationed in Portsmouth, NH while his submarine is in dry dock being updated/repaired. He is married and has a 19 month old daughter Emma, our great-granddaughter. The other is in Groton, CT attending his submarine training school.
Our trip was perfect and one of the things that made it so fabulous was the vacation home we rented for the week. It was nice to have that house to just relax and hang out and visit with the kids. Miss Emma loved it and got to run around outside in the yard, I will share more of our vacation pictures later.
Here is the night we first got there and we gave her the little mini-album I made for her.
Now back to the card I have to share with you today. I was so happy with the agency that rented us the house and the house itself I wanted to send them a thank you card.
I had bought this K&Company paper a while knowing that we would be going to the East coast and loved the patterns in the pack. The banner is cut from the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge and so are the letter for the word Maine. I liked this banner cut because it already had the holes in the top to string the cord through.
The label is a Spellbinder and stamped with one of the CTMH stamp of the month sets, I believe it may have been the May set.
The starfish is a K&Company sticker that matches the paper pack.
I did the inside simply so that I could write a note and tell them how much we enjoyed our stay.
Thanks for stopping by today and hope to get a post up soon with some pictures of our trip.
