Well I have had this animal print paper in my stash for a while now and have always wanted to make a card using it and finally did it!. It is from the DCWV All Dressed Up stack. It follows one of the sketches at RAQs challenge and also the challenge this week at
Sketch and Stash, I just found this challenge and think I will be visiting it often.
The "happy birthday" is from the ZooBalloo cartridge., however it is not cut out. I used my QuicKutz pems that fit perfectly into your Cricut and they are ballpoint pens not markers so they write a nice fine line. I went ahead and colored it in with markers so it would be more solid. The corners were cut from Jasmine, it seems this is the cartridge I go to when I need corners, although Straight From the Nest has some great one also. The red panel I used my Cuttlebug to emboss it, I though this folder followed the animal theme. I inked the two animal print papers with red ink so the edges would stand out a bit better.
The red Zig-Zag cut is from MS All Occasions cake art, love the cake cartridges for borders. I also used my i-Rock to set rhinestones on the zig-zag, another thing I just had to have but barely use.
