Poppies by Tiffany Doodles.

I am so excited this week to be the hostess at Crafty Creations Challenge and super excited that Tiffany at Tiffany Doodles agreed to be my sponsor.  She has some of the most awesome images, you really do need to go check them out.

Original Digital Stamps

I especially love her flowers so my challenge is, use a flower image, pattern paper and a ribbon somewhere on your project.  It does not have to be one of Tiffany's images but I am sure she would really appreciate if you did.  Hop on over to Crafty Creations and post your project as you could win your choice of 5 of Tiffanys images.  How cool is that.  Plus she is always coming out with new releases.  Also you will want to check out what our design team at Crafy Creations has come up with using her images.
I used her poppy image, as poppies are my favorite flowers and I am really trying to improve my alcohol marker coloring, be it Promarkers or Copics.

I printed and colored a second image so I could pop dot a couple of the poppies to give it dimension.  The label was cut using my Cricut and stamped with one of Gina K Designs stamps.  I thought the saying fit the image perfectly.  I also liked the way the polka dot ribbon looked with the stripes.  Here is a close up of the poppies, I love the way the colors came out.
I will also be entering this card in Tiffany Doodles Flower Power Challenge, you have till May 21th to post your card.
Another thing I wanted to point out is Tiffany has some of her images that fit perfectly if you want to cut them with your Spellbinder Nesties, which is what I did with this one.
Other challenges that I will enter this in
A Spoon Full of Sugar - anything goes
Clear it Out Challenge - use coloring mediums
Delightful Sketches  - Flowers
Paper and Such - Birthday   This is a brand new challenge blog make sure you check it out.
Well thanks for stopping by and be sure and head on over to Crafty Creations and post your project.  I would love to hear what you think of my poppies.

For The Love of Everyone --- Blog Hop Day 2

Now our theme is RED HOT, well yesterdays post was red but not necessarily hot, so today I thought I would give you red hot.  If you missed yesterdays post please scroll down.  Same as yesterday I want to give a big thanks to our sponsor Celeste at Thirty One for donating one of her fabulous totes that will be given away randomly from one of the blogs that are participating in the hop.

As soon as our theme red hot was announced I knew I wanted to make somethings using a red chili.  This one is a stamp that I colored using my Promarkers.  I stamped and colored it a second time and cut it out so I could layer it on top of the other one.  I think I am getting a bit better with my Promarkers.  Then when I found the background paper at Joann's I knew it was the perfect fit for my chili pepper.  The saying is computer generated then cut out using one of my Nestabilities labels.  I love using the Spellbinder Nesties for cutting out computer generated sentiments.  I added a checked bow to the stem of the chili and called it done!  What do you think?

Now on to the hop, this is day 2 so make sure you visit every blog both days and leave a comment to have a chance at winning the tote bag donated by Thirty One the winner will be randomly drawn from one of the blogs.  Another reason to stop by all the blogs is I am sure there is some more prizes along the way.
I am also giving away a prize randomly drawn from the comments posted on both days, my prize is a $10 gift card to Tiffany Doodles.  She has some awesome digital images and is always releasing new ones, check out here website by clicking the link above.  To win this prize leave a comment on this post telling me what kind of images you like the best.
I also have a small red hot but not craft related prize to give away to one random comment from this post.  It is cute, you will love it!
I will be randomly choosing my winners on Monday 2/14, make sure I have a way to get a hold of you or check back here on Monday to see if you are the winner.

Oh so Pretty Poppies!

I think I had to pick a favorite flower it would be Poppies, I just love the simplicity of them and the bright colors.  I made this card using one of the images from Tiffany Doodles, I just love her images and she just redid her store, check it out if you like digital images.  I made this card to enter into the monthly challenge blog at Tiffany Doddles Blog, kind of nice to do a monthly challenge as it gives you more time to create, she even gives away some of her images each month.  Also this week at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge the theme is "WHATEVA" which is so much fun and I thought this digital stamped image was perfect!
My Mom also loves poppies and her birthday is coming up so I made this for her.  It was made over several days, she comes and spends the winter with us from Colorado so I always had to have two things going and every time she came in my room I had to hide it and pull out the other card, LOL..........I colored the poppies using my Promarkers, using the colors Poppy and Bright Orange and blended them together.  The leaves were also colored using Promakers.  The background paper is from the DCWV Crafty stack.  The cream colored strip on the left side is pearl paper that I embossed using of the the Cuttlebug embossing folders that comes in the Asian set.

The largest poppy I colored twice and cut one of and pop dotted it over the top of the other one to give it a little depth.  I think image would make a fabulous "spotlight" card, I may have to try that soon.  Happy Birthday is a Gina K stamp that I heat embossed using a pearl orange powder.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leave me a comment so I know you stopped by.  I love reading them!
