(CAS)E this Sketch

I play along this week at the
(CAS)E sketch challenge, I love CAS or clean and simple
but I often have a hard time with them.
So I made this card following this sketch.

So out of my comfort zone but I am pleased with how it turned out.

I wanted to use the latest 4 Catherine Pooler inks that
just came out.  A couple of them actually came on in a previous
Stamp of Approval box, but they were just added to the store.
I wish the colors would show up better in the picture.
The bottom circle are stamped in Grape Crush, the dots above it
in Limoncello and Be Mine.  The dotted line was stamping
using All Tha Jazz.  I love CP inks they are so vibrant and stamp perfectly.

Maybe I can get more comfortable doing CAS cards if I practice them and make some more.

Just for You

I am sharing a card with you I made a couple months ago
but never posted it.

I was a fun simple card to make and I even made it
without following a sketch ha ha ha.

I used stamps that came in the Stamp of Approval box that was leased in June.
The collection was called Naturally Inspired and I love the stamps that same in there.
The cross hatch stamp made a fun simple background.  The feathers I stamped
in 3 different colors using Catherine Pooler Inks and then fussy cut them out.
I used a Fiskars punch to cut along the right edge of the card then wrapped some
bakers twine around it and popped the top layer.

This card was simple and fun to make, maybe I will try and do it in
a Christmas theme.  Will keep you posted.

Thanks for stopping to take a peek, have a great day.

Wishing you the Best

Just have a quick card to share with you today.
I watched a video on Unity Stamps Facebook page about stamp kissing.
Normally when I see something I want to try I like to do it right
away so I don't forget about it.
Here is one tutorial on stamping kissing if you are not
familiar with it.  Stamp Kissing

I took my solid Poppy stamp from Unity and inked it in red, then
I inked up a pattern stamp in white ink and stamped it onto
the inked poppy stamp.  Unfortunately my white ink didn't show too
well, but you can bet I will be trying this again.
I masked my flower next and then stamped the black border
along the two sides of it.   That border stamp and the "wishing you the" are stamps that came in the lastest SOA box.  The word best is a die cut that
was also in the SOA.  I flicked some orange and black inks on it and
added a few sequin and that was it.
