Watercolor Flowers - GinaK

Well hello, long time no post.  The holidays for some reason
really got to me this year. My Mom was here from
Colorado, so I was busy with her and then just had a
hard time getting in my room and getting anything made.
I did make some Christmas presents which I hope to
share in a future post.

I felt like doing some watercoloring so I looked through my
stamps and settled on one from GinaK from the
I have had this set for a number of years, in fact, it is in red rubber at
that time GinaK was not even making this set in clear.
Like I said I have had it for several years and actually never used it,
let me tell you after making this card I will be using it often.

I love the way it turned out like always, it is much
prettier in person with the gold embossing.
I used my Gansai Tambi watercolors.  The sentiment stamp in the center
is from the same stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope I am back in the card marking
groove and can post more often.
Challenges entered:
Crafting With Attitude - anything goes - ends 1/27
Southern Girls Challenge - anything goes
The Outlawz - anything goes

Tulip in a Jar

Hi, it is that time again (sorry I am late) the 15th of
the month time for the Bugaboo Crafty Challenge over
at the Crafting Circle

For this month I chose to color the Bugaboo image

I colored the image using my Gansai Tambi watercolors.
After I colored it I cut it out using one of my Gina Marie dies and that added another die layer behind it.  I cover the "jar" part with Crystal Lacquer
to make it look like glass.
I created the card following the sketch over at
Sweet Sketch Wednesday that runs through 5/23.

The Bugaboo Crafty Challenge runs for a whole month till June 14th
so you have plenty time to join in the fun at both challenges.

Thanks for stopping by, will be back shortly with another post.

Spring Boot - Bugaboo

Well, it's that time again, time for the Bugaboo Crafty Challenge
over at the Crafting Circle

use any Bugaboo image on your project.  You have a
whole month to join in the fun and maybe win
some Bugaboo images.  There are also Freebies every

This month I chose to use the image called
Spring Boot which was one of the freebies a few weeks ago.
I colored it used my new Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors.
I absolutely love these paints, they move so well so you can
paint lightly or darken your colors.
You will be seeing a lot more projects from me using these fabulous
watercolors.
So come on over and join in the fun at the
Bugaboo Crafty Challenge.
