Sending Prayers & Thoughts

I thought this card looks comforting and caring all at the same time.  I figured it could be used for a sympathy card, an after surgery, or even when someone gets some bad news.
Now this week at Crafty Creations Challenge the theme is "in stitches' although this card is by no means funny I did however use my Jamone sewing machine.
The flower is a Inkadinkado stamp, that I stamped on Cryogen white paper I got from Paper Temptress and colored using my ProMarkers.  The Cryogen white paper works great with alcohol markers and has a sparkle to it that shows through even after you color it.  The sentiment is a Gina K Design stamp, that I stamped on an oval I cut using my Cricut.  I also added some faux or hand stitching around the oval.
After I stamped and colored my flowers I cut them out using my deckled edged Nesties, one from the Cryogen white and the other from a very deep purple/maroon and then stitched them together.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, and don't forget to stop by Crafty Creations and join us this week.

Stamptacular Sunday Card Challenge

I don't know about everyone else, but I am so so behind on my holiday thank you cards.  We left for Las Vegas the day after Christmas then when I got back I had two birthdays and a shower card to make, well actually 4 birthday cards (2 for me, 2 for my Mom) and you all know I am not a speedy card maker,  LOL
Anyways, I took the opportunity to use the sketch from this weeks, Stamptacular Sunday Challenge to make one of those thank you cards.
The center flower is a stamp from Inkadinkado Stamp, I colored it using my ProMarkers.  I am still learning this coloring technique but I think these came out pretty.  The paper is from a Michaels Recollections, Romance pack.  The borders down the side is a Martha Stewart punch, I love this punch.  Then I put a drop of Viva Decor pearl pen in the center of each flower.  I even finished the inside, left it blank so I could right a personal note.
Well still have a few thank you cards to go, but thought I would share this one with you.  Thanks for stopping by and would love to read your comments :)!
